Healthy Corner Stores

Obesity relates directly to the food we eat, but much of the time it's far too difficult to make the healthier choice. The Healthy Corner Stores project, in partnership with several other area businesses and organizations, will engage and involve neighbors to improve their retail food environment and ultimately improve the health of local families, especially those with young children.

Volunteer Opportunity:
LCHAY's Healthy Corner Store Initiative needs volunteers to conduct informal surveys of corner store shoppers to collect their ideas on how improvements can be made to the retail food environment.  Interested? Contact Kayla to learn more.
